Users of HDMI 2.1 compliant screens will also be able to utilise Automatic Low Latency mode, which communicates with your display to automatically enable low latency gaming modes. Next up, we have Radeon anti-lag, which is a feature which is designed to reduce input lag and make PC games more responsive. Users of AMD's Navi RX 5700 series graphics cards will be able to utilise Radeon Image Sharpening, which is available in DirectX 11, DirectX 9 and Vulkan compatible games, enabling contrast-adaptive sharpening in conjunction with optional CPU upscaling to draw out extra detail in games. AMD has officially launched their Radeon Software Adrenalin 19.7.1 driver, bringing with it support for Navi alongside a boatload of other upgrades, the first of which is Navi exclusive.
